So… Steve and I asked the resort if we could downgrade our suite.
Yes, you read that right.
We’re currently staying in this gorgeous, “upgraded” resort suite with two levels, sweeping views, all the aesthetic bells and whistles…
And it’s driving us insane.
Why?
Because it’s so complicated and impractical that we can’t even relax.
The staircase is steep and narrow.
The bedroom’s in a loft where we’ve already bumped our heads—twice.
I slipped on the stairs.
We’re tiptoeing around like cautious little grandmas in a design showroom.
It’s beautiful.
And totally dysfunctional.
And it hit me like a bolt of divine irony:
This is exactly what I see in the spiritual world every day.
People jumping from modality to modality.
Collecting “fancy” energy tools that look incredible on paper…
But don’t actually support real transformation.
Because the truth?
Complication is not the same as effectiveness.
In fact, the biggest quantum shifts I’ve ever had came from the simplest energetic truths—applied with consistency, embodiment, and intention.
Not from chasing 18 modalities that sounded “next level.”
Not from stacking certifications like Pokémon cards.
Not from the “upgraded suite” of healing tools that made me feel more spiritual than everyone else.
